Aldo Los AltosFeatured

Eat Small.....Live Large!   Downtown Los Altos eatery serves moderately priced, hearty Italian fare in a causal atmosphere.  Entrees range from salads to specialty pastas.

Our specialty, Cicchetti (pronounced chi-ket-ti) simply means small bites. Originating in Venice in the grand pubs and served from happy hour til dawn and always paired with a glass or bottle of delicious wine, they are great to share with friends for a snack or choose a few of your own for an indulgent meal.

Antipasti, salad, pasta, panini, piadina, entrees and desserts are also served at Aldo. We are happy to have our lasagna which was a specialty at the now closed Vino e Cucina (The Big Tomato) in San Francisco.

The restaurant can also host your next party or corporate event, up to 85 people. Please call the restaurant for details.

Reservations accepted.

Los Altos is definetly a town off the beaten path. However, this restaurant "Aldo, Los Altos" is worth the short drive from, Los Gatos, Sunnyvale, Mountain View, or Palo Alto. I love their small plates idea. Instead of ordering a big plate of one thing you can order a few small plates of a variety of things. Even better if your with a group of friends you can all order a few and share. It is so much fun and their prices are more than reasonable. They also have traditional fare with a 21'st century flare. I want to come for lunch one day for they have these things on their menu called Piadina & Panzerotti. I'm not sure what they are but I am definetly intrigued. This is the first restaurant that I have been introduced to in a long time that has surprised me with new food choices. Finally something new that I don't have to drive to SF for and surprisingly in Los Altos!!!
